Installation Tips - Bowser 14 Panel Hopper

Here's the belly of the Bowser car. Nothing is unusual here. Factory coupler
Here we go with the truck and coupler assembly removed. Notice that the post for the coupler is in the lid, rather than in the box. Old coupler removed

Install the coupler over the mounting post located in the lid of the coupler. The friction spring will have to be installed after the coupler goes on. Use the tip of a hobby knife to guide the spring into place as described for the P2K Type 21 Tank car.

Notice that the coupler is right side up rather than up side down.
