These terms describe the permitted use of the Prototype Couplers website, operated by Prototype Couplers Limited Co. Our Sales & Refunds policy explains ordering, shipping, and returns. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Using this website
You may use this website to explore products, place orders, and access model railroading information. Please do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it for unlawful activities.
Website content
Website text, photographs, renders, logos, and other materials belong to Prototype Couplers or their respective owners. You may view the site and print instructions for your personal model railroading use. Please contact us before reproducing our materials commercially, except where permission is not required by law.
Product information and compatibility
Read each product description and its assembly and installation instructions before purchasing or using a product. Scale, shank style, length, and draft gear requirements vary.
“Compatible shank” refers to mounting compatibility. It does not mean that our coupler heads couple with conventional HO scale knuckle couplers. See our Compatibility page for details.
Some products require assembly, fitting, or finishing. Images and renders illustrate products; check the description for the contents and quantity included in a pack.
Safety
Our products include small components intended for model railroading. Keep loose parts away from young children and follow the instructions and warnings supplied with each product. Follow the manufacturers’ directions for tools, adhesives, and finishing materials used during assembly.
Accuracy and external links
We work to keep product information accurate and may correct mistakes or update descriptions. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you to explain the issue and available options.
Links to other manufacturers and services are provided for convenience. Those websites operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Your rights and contact
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
